Virovitica, August 28, 2007 – Representatives of three Croatian sugar factories, Viro from Virovitica, Kandit Premijer from Osijek and Sladorana from Županja, decided to donate 35.000 t of sugar beet chips from this year's sugar campaign to the Association for fattening and breeding yearlings «Baby Beef». The decision was made to help the cattle breeders in prevailing the consequences of this year's draught, due to which Croatia lacks feed, especially corn. The sugar factories are opened for discussion about placing molasses, raw sugar and dry briquette sugar beet chips, which were exported in the amount of 92%. |
