Željko Zadro, President and member of Management Board, was born on May 14, 1971. He graduated from the Faculty of Economy at the University of Zagreb in 1996, and started his professional career by founding the company Eos-Z. During the next four years he was actively involved in the construction of Grude brewery in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in cooperation with the world’s largest beer producer InBev. In 2000 he transferred to the position of Commercial Director in Badel 1862, leading Croatian producer of wine and spirits. A year later he became the General Director of Hospitalija, company for import and distribution of medical supplies. In April 2006 he took over the position of the procurator in Viro sugar factory, where he was oriented towards strengthening the company’s position on Croatian and European market, and improving the quality of products. In March 2008, after successfully achieving those objectives, Željko Zadro was appointed CEO of Viro.
Supervisory Board
Marinko Zadro, President of the Supervisory Board, was born on February 8, 1941 in Grude in Bosnia and Herzegovina. He is a graduate technology engineer by profession. He was Director for many years of the sugar factory in Sremska Mitrovica and he has dedicated his whole active life to the activities related to the sugar industry. He is acquainted with the whole process from the growing and production of sugar beet to the processing itself, which represents great experience and accumulated knowledge. He is the owner of the company EOS-Z Ltd.
Boris Šimunović, Member of the Supervisory Board, was born on January 19, 1971 in Senj, where he completed primary and secondary education. He graduated in foreign trade at the Faculty of Economics in Zagreb in 1997. He has worked with the company EOS-Z Ltd. in the finance department since 1998 and since 2002 he has occupied the position of Director.
Dražen Robić, Member of the Supervisory Board, was born on February 6, 1966 in Zagreb. He graduated at the Faculty of Mining, Geology and Petroleum in 1989 and acquired the degree of petroleum mining engineer. Three years later he incorporated the company Robić Ltd., specialized in import, sales and production of food products and drinks. Company Robić took over Virovitica sugar factory in bankruptcy in partnership with the company EOS-Z in 2000. One year later he incorporated the company Naturalis dealing with the production of Cetina natural spring water.
Marinko Papuga, Member of the Supervisory Board, graduated on the Faculty of Economy in Zagreb. He started his career in 1987 in Privredna banka Zagreb, where he worked at the Corporate Loan Department and the Investment Banking Department. Four years later he became the General Manager of Zagreb Stock Exchange. He was on this position until June 2006, when he transferred to the position of the Director of Investment Banking in Croatian Postal Bank. Marinko Papuga is a licensed broker. He filled the post of the Vice-President of FEAS (Federation of Euro-Asian Stock Exchanges) and the member of the Executive Committee. Likewise, he was a member of the Government’s Working Group for the production of a legal act on the procedures of merging supervisory institutions in the non-banking financial sector (present HANFA) and a member of the Central Depositary Agency Supervisory Board from 1999 to 2001.
Krešimir Mostovac, Member of the Supervisory Board, was born on April 22, 1966 in Virovitica. He graduated at the Food and Biotechnological Faculty of Zagreb, where he acquired the title of graduate food technology engineer. Upon completion of study he worked with the private holding company Fema and the Dinga factory for processing and canning of vegetables, in the position of Chief Technologist. He participated in the Croatian War of Independence and holds the War of Independence testimonial. He came to Virovitica sugar factory in 1992 in the position of Shift Production Deputy Head, and after that he occupied the position of Shift Production Head, which he holds today. In 2003 he was elected Vice-President of the Workers" Council, by which he was also elected as its representative in the Supervisory Board of Viro. |
