Pfeifer & Langen is a European sugar manufacturer with factories in Germany, Poland and Romania, the latter being a joint venture between P&L and the French manufacturer Cristal Union of Bazancourt. The total production of sugar amounts to over a million tons. The objective of the cooperation is mutual exchange of experiences in the fields of technology, manufacturing sugar for households, and distribution, in order to increase the competitiveness of Viro sugar factory on the European Union market. On the other hand, Pfeifer & Langen will be enabled to expand their distribution of sugar in the countries of ex Yugoslavia.
